Polyamide (nylon) ropes combine high impact and tensile strength with notable elasticity, absorbing energy and cushioning shock under sudden loads. They resist abrasion well.
Preferred for load lashing, towing, recovery and shock-absorbing applications, produced across a wide diameter range.

Polyamide fibre is inherently elastic; this stretch cushions shock under sudden loads, protecting both the load and the equipment.
Polyamide loses some strength when wet and regains it when dry; this should be considered for critical loads.
